ALL RECIPES BAKING RECIPES CANDY RECIPES COCKTAIL RECIPES COOKING RECIPES Create Account Questions Recipes Video Classes Zoom Classes Irish Soda Bread 15 mins 2 loaves Recipe you are creating: Irish Soda Bread Soda bread is among the simplest of breads to make. It’s especially delectable when split horizontally, toasted and stuffed with chewy thick cut bacon. It is a variety of quick bread made in a variety of cuisines where baking soda is used as a leavening agent instead of the traditional yeast. The best Irish soda bread, like this recipe, has a golden brown crust with a dense, tight crumb. The bread isn’t heavy, it’s actually quite tender and soft inside. The crust is nice and crisp when it comes out of the oven and becomes a little chewy on day 2 and 3. It’s so good! Recipe Ingredients: This recipe is part of our Quick Breads Class. • Daiquiri Ice Sorbet

This recipe is amazing in the summer but equally wonderful anytime of the year! Our Daiquiri Ice recipe is nostalgic of the kind you may have enjoyed as a kid at Baskin and Robins. It’s a refreshing sorbet, easy to make and we’ve replicated it using just 5 ingredients. It's great in the summertime and can be colored or left natural as we opted to do. We also choose to use rum bakery emulsion from LorAnn oils, but you can use rum extract. Along with the bakery emulsion we used food grade Citric acid which is a natural fruit acid. You can omit the Citric acid, but we found that it really enhanced the taste of the rum bakery emulsion. We also felt that making Daiquiri Ice gave us the perfect reason to test out the sorbet function on the Ninja Creami. We are pleased to report that the Ninja Creami was not only super easy to use, but we loved how it “Sorbetified” our Daquiri Ice creating a smooth, delicious frozen treat texture. The hardest part was not eating the entire container! Recipe Ingredients: 2 cups water 1 cup granulated fine sugar Juice from 1 large lime 1 teaspoon of rum bakery emulsion or rum extract ½ teaspoon food grade Citric acid powder Recipe Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Add olive or avocado oil and garlic and sauté for several minutes on low heat. Remove from heat. Dip each slice of bread in the mixture. Turn to coat each side. Place the bread on a baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and crispy. Full recipe how-to video below! • Grandma's Chocolate Chip Cookies

ALL RECIPES BAKING RECIPES CANDY RECIPES COCKTAIL RECIPES COOKING RECIPES Create Account Questions Recipes Video Classes Zoom Classes Grandma's Chocolate Chip Cookies 10 mins 3-5 dozen Recipe you are creating: Grandma's Chocolate Chip Cookies Grandma's Chocolate Chip cookies were one of my favorites as a kid. I couldn't wait to get to Grandma's house and pull one of her delicious cookies out of the glass cookie jar. Her cookies were slightly crunchy around the edges and chewy in the middle. No other cookie has compared to hers! Recipe Ingredients: 1 cup butter flavored or regular shortening 1 1/2 cups white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 1/4 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips Recipe Directions: In a large bowl, cream the shortening, sugars, vanilla and eggs together until fluffy. Shift dry ingredients together. Gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips. Use an ice cream scoop to drop the cookies onto the cookie sheet. Make sure the dough is even with the top of the scoop. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. When you take the pan out of the oven, drop it on the counter. This will make the cookie flatten a bit and it will be extra chewy! Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool completely. Variations: Get creative! Add honey roasted pecans, white chocolate chips or even raisins! You Might Also Like: Cookie Baking & Cookie Decorating Classes You Might Like!
