Caramel Banana Bread

Try this fun spin on a traditional banana bread with the addition of caramel bits!

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. 

  2. In a large bowl, mix together mashed bananas, melted butter, and sugar. 

  3. Stir in egg and mix until blended. 

  4. In a separate bowl, combine baking soda, baking powder, salt, and flour. 

  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. 

  6. Stir in caramel bits.  

  7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. 

  8. Bake in preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. 

  9. Allow it to cool before serving. Enjoy! 

Ingredients
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1/3 cup melted butter

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup caramel bits
