But wait, there's more! You can get creative with the flavors and fillings. Try using Nutella, peanut butter, or even savory ingredients like cheese and bacon. The possibilities are endless. So go ahead, have some fun in the kitchen and enjoy your tasty creation. Recipe Ingredients: 1 recipe of our pasty dough taught in our pie basics class or store bought Homemade fruit presserve or store bought Egg Wash Glaze Recipe Directions: Pre-heat oven to 350. Roll out pastry dough and cut equal rectangles based on the size of pop tart you'd like. Run some egg wash around the outer edge of the pastry dough and add filling in the middle of one side. Add the Whip It and Vanilla Sugar and beat until stiff. Reserve 1/2 cup whipped cream. Gradually add in the lemon curd into the whipped cream. If you like a strong lemon flavor, you will want to taste test as you go. Fill a pastry bag with lemon curd. Pipe the lemon curd into the bottom of the baked tart shells. Fill a pastry bag with the lemon whipped cream and top the lemon curd with the lemon whipped cream. Top each tart with a cluster of blueberries and garnish with candied lemon curls. Add the corn and sauté, stirring occasionally, until just tender and lightly browned in spots, 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer to a plate and let cool to room temperature. In a large bowl combine the cooled corn, avocados, lettuce and tomatoes. In a small bowl, combine the lime zest and juice, vegetable oil, honey and salt and pepper to taste. Whisk until combined. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss gently to combine. Sprinkle the salad with the cotija, garnish with the basil and serve immediately. This pie is super easy to make and will become a family favorite in your house too. Recipe Ingredients: 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup cornstarch 4 cups fresh blackberries (don't substitute frozen!) 1 9 inch pie crust Recipe Directions: Lay the 4 cups of blackberries into the bottom of the pie crust. Shift the sugar and cornstarch. Gradually add in the heavy cream and stir until completely blended. Pour over the blackberries. Bake at 425 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
