ALL RECIPES BAKING RECIPES CANDY RECIPES COCKTAIL RECIPES COOKING RECIPES Create Account Questions Recipes Video Classes Zoom Classes Homemade Strawberry Jam 20 mins 4-5 Half-Pint Jars Recipe you are creating: Homemade Strawberry Jam Here’s how to make strawberry jam at home using fresh strawberries and a few pantry basics. You’ll start with clean, hulled strawberries and blitz them into a smooth puree. If you don’t like seeds in your jam, strain the puree using a fine mesh sieve. You’ll get a silky texture that’s perfect for spreading. Heat the puree with a splash of lemon juice and a little rum (optional but adds great depth). Mix your sugar with apple pectin before slowly adding it in. Stir consistently to keep the mixture smooth and lump-free. Let it cook until thickened. That’s it—your homemade strawberry jam is ready. This method is simple and works well if you’re prepping jam ahead for a tart or just want a solid, go-to fridge jam. Skip the store-bought stuff. Make your own. It tastes better. Recipe Ingredients: 4½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp dark rum (optional) ¾ cup granulated sugar 1 tbsp apple pectin Recipe Directions: Blend the strawberries into a smooth puree using a blender or food processor. Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds. Pour the strained puree into a saucepan. Add lemon juice and rum. Heat over low to medium-low until it begins to simmer. In a separate bowl, whisk sugar and pectin together. Slowly sprinkle the mixture into the simmering puree while stirring constantly. Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring often, until the jam thickens. Remove from heat. Cool slightly, then pour into clean jars. Refrigerate or process for canning. Store in the fridge. Use within a week or freeze for later. - Balsamic Glazed Asparagus Recipe | Learn To Bake and Cook | Epicurean Delights
How to create XXX balsamic glazed asparagus Balsamic glaze brings out the flavor in fresh asparagus. Grill it on the barbecue or roast in the oven. Finish with slices of fresh lemon. There are many brands of balsamic glazes on the market and most of them contain a lot of sugar. Our homemade recipe has just a touch of brown sugar. We add it to a good quality balsamic vinegar and simmer it until it turns sweet and has a syrup-like consistency. Download Recipe Card Shop/Buy Project Supplies Ask Questions/Forum How to make Balsamic Glazed Asparagus Difficulty: Easy What you are creating: Asparagus paired beautifully with a balsamic glaze. Grill on the b arbecue or roast in the oven. Garnish with fresh lemon rounds. Ingredients: 2 pounds fresh asparagus Avocado oil spray Balsamic glaze 1 fresh lemon, sliced Salt Directions: Prep work: Be sure to chose thin, uniform stalks of asparagus. They take less time to cook and have a better texture. Cut the woody ends off the stalks. I like to bend them and let them snap by themselves. This assures that the tough ends are all removed. Trim any rough ends. Line your baking dish or grilling pan with aluminum foil and preheat before adding the veggie. The grill marks add a ton of flavor to the asparagus. Baking: Preheated to 425 degrees. Place your foil lined pan in the oven for 5 minutes. Note: You will want the asparagus to sizzle when it hits the foil. Spray the asparagus with the avocado oil, and toss to coat on all sides. Season generously with salt. Remove pan from oven and place the spears on the foil and spray lightly with oil. Bake at 425 degrees for five minutes. Remove from oven and turn the spears ensuring all sides are charred. Add lemon slices and bake until the asparagus is tender. Grilling: Preheat the grilling pan in the grill. Add the salted and oiled asparagus to the preheated grilling pan. Place on grill and close the lid. Bake until lightly charred. Turn the spears and close the lid and bake several minutes. Turn spears and add the fresh lemon slices. Cook until spears are tender. Makes approximately 4 servings. Variations: Slice one large sweet yellow onion. Grill onions slices in a separate pan (following above instructions). Toss with the grilled asparagus. Add the fresh lemon slices. Cook until the veggies are tender. Related Projects:

Step 2 Use modeling chocolate, gum paste or fondant to create a disc to build your flowers on. Step 3 Use the mold to create the petals. Layer your flower petals onto the disc using gel to glue in-between each layer. Work from larges petal to smallest. Step 4 Use a ball tool to make sure the layers adhere to each other. Remember: Piping gel is your glue. Use only a small amount. Step 5 Use a ball tool to pop all the petals up. Step 6 Take the small round flower and place it in the center of your petals. Use the ball tool to cup and form the tiny petals around it to create the daffodil center. Step 7 This is how your daffodil will look with the fluted center. Step 8 Your daffodil is complete! Step 9: Create the Daisy For the daisy, repeat steps 1-5. Add a molded center to complete the daisy. I dust my mold first with color. Step 10 Add your medium to the mold.
