Strawberry Feta Summer Salad

My quick and easy strawberry salad is perfect for those hot days when you want to whip something up that's delicious and cool.

Feta and strawberries pair perfectly which is one of the reasons I love making this salad. I will confess I don't just make it in the summertime! I make it all year round and sometimes I swap the romaine out with spinach.

The addition of the honey roasted pecans add a sweet and salty taste that balances out the feta but also helps add some sweetness if your strawberries are not super sweet.

Dressings I love on this salad are homemade balsamic vinaigrette, champagne vinaigrette or even a poppy seed style dressing such as Briannas Home Style Rich Poppy Seed Salad Dressing. My favorite salad dressing is our homemade balsamic vinaigrette!

The salad is super easy! Just chop up some romaine, pile on sliced strawberries, sprinkle in the feta and top is off with the honey roasted pecans. Let your table mates add their own dressing of choice and enjoy!
