Marinated Grilled Steak

What you are creating

A super easy way to marinade a steak and grill it up!


  1. Sprinkle garlic and onion powders, Himalayan sea salt and pepper on both sides of the steak.

  2. Pour approximately 1/2 cup olive oil into a small bowl.

  3. Sprinkle a generous amount of ground cumin into the olive oil and stir to incorporate.

  4. Massage the olive oil/cumin mixture into both sides of the steak.

  5. Sprinkle the thinly sliced cilantro and parsley over the steak and pat into the meat. Repeat on both sides.

  6. Allow to marinade for several hours. For best results, marinade in refrigerator overnight.

  7. Allow to come to room temperature before grilling.

  8. Place steak on hot grill.

  9. Turn once the steak releases easily from the grill.

  10. Grill to 160 degrees.

  11. Remove from grill and allow the steak to rest for 15 minutes.

  12. Slice the steak on the bias.

  13. Serve and enjoy!

  • Pink Himalayan sea salt

  • Parsley, thinly sliced
