How to make Blonde Quinoa

Learn how to make blonde quinoa that comes out fluffy and tender every time. This simple cooking method uses broth instead of water to give your quinoa extra flavor without adding extra work.

Start by rinsing your blonde quinoa well in a fine mesh sieve. Add it to a pot with chicken broth, or use any broth you prefer. Bring everything to a rolling boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.

Once the quinoa finishes cooking, turn off the heat. Wrap the pot lid in a clean tea towel, place it back on the pot, and let the quinoa rest for another 10 minutes. The towel helps absorb excess steam so the quinoa grains stay separate instead of becoming wet or clumpy.
