Caramel Fondue Recipe

What you are creating

Learn how to make a delicious caramel fondue! A great addition to your dessert fondue spread!

Directions:

  1. Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, butter, and salt in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter is melted, and the mixture is boiling. 

  2. Remove from heat and stir in cream, brandy or rum, and vanilla extract. 

  3. Pour the mixture into a fondue pot or slow cooker and keep warm over low heat. 

  4. Serve with fresh fruit, pretzels, marshmallows, or any other favorite dipping items. Enjoy! 


Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup

  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoons brandy or rum (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
