Doughnut or Donut?

Our live Zoom doughnut class March 4th is sure to be sensational!

Doughnut or donut? The official dictionary spelling of the word in questions is "doughnut". The Americanized spelling is "donut" and has been around since at least the late 19th century. The shortened version become even more popular when a certain east coast chain (Dunkin Donuts) took off and the use of "donut" become even more mainstream. Which ever way you choose to spell them we can all agree on one thing…they are delicious!


Speaking of doughnuts....In our live Zoom class March 5th, students will learn to make apple cider cake doughnuts and rising yeast doughnuts along with two glazes. Students will also get recipes for our fruit fritters and baked doughnuts. Indulge in the art of making your own delicious doughnuts. Come learn fun techniques for coating and decorating your doughnuts as well!
