Low Sugar Balsamic Glaze
Balsamic glaze adds intense flavor to grilled vegetables, salads and meats.
We love our glaze because there isn't a lot of added sugar. We let the balsamic vinegar do all the heavy work in creating our sweet and savory glaze!
Recipe Ingredients:
2 cups balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Recipe Directions:
Mix balsamic vinegar with brown sugar in a saucepan.
Place pan over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar has dissolved.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Simmer until glaze is reduced by half, about 20 minutes. If the glaze coats the back of a spoon, you are good to go.
Let cool and pour into a jar with a lid.
Store in refrigerator.
Substitute 1 tablespoon Splenda brown sugar for the 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
