Phyllo dough wrapped asparagus with brie cheese make an easy appetizer for anytime of the year!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a pot of boiling water blanch asapargus for about 3 mins and shock in cold water.
Take butter and honey and whip together.
Cut brie cheese into pieces as seen in video.
Crack egg in dish and whisk it for egg wash.
Unroll thawed phyllo dough sheets. Take three sheets and brush honey butter between each sheet and stack.
Cut prepared phyllo dough into stips as seen in video.
Take one to two asparagus spears, lay across phyllo dough strip and place a piece of the brie cheese on top. Either roll the dough around the spears as seen in video or wrap the dough up the spear, your choice.
Place wrapped spears on baking sheet, brush on egg wash, sprinkle with flaked sea salt.
Bake in oven for about 10 mins or until golden brown.
1 Bunch of Asparagus
1 Round of Brie Cheese
I package of Phyllo Dough
1 Stick of Butter
4 Tablespoons of Honey
Flaked Sea Salt
