Pinwheels are fun anytime of the year and are perfect for cakes, cupcakes and cookies! Learn how to create this fun pinwheel cooking using a scrapbooking machine and edible paper!
Pre-Prep: You will want to use the pinwheel dies listed under supplies needed and cut them out ahead of time in wafer paper of your choice. You can use plain white wafer and use the dusts to color it or one of the many patterned or colored options found in our online shop.
You can purchase these products online. There are many scrapbook machines on the market. If you're an avid scrapbooker, you can use the machine you already own.

Fondant or Modeling Chocolate

Creating the Pinwheel Cookie
Apply piping gel to your cookie.
Add white fondant cut out using the same cookie cutter used for baking the cookie.
Take your Pinwheel appliqué and add piping gel to the back.
Center applique on cookie.
Place a dot of piping gel in the middle of the pinwheel and attach a chocolate pearl.
Add small sugar pearls a the points for extra detail.
Admire your beautiful pinwheel cookie!
