How to make Crispy Crostini slices

What you are creating:
Crispy, full of flavor crostini slices perfect for Bruschetti or a side with your favorite soup.

Ingredients:

1 French baguette, cut into thin slices (about 1/4-1/2 inch slices)

1/4 cup olive or avocado oil
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1/4 cup high quality butter
-
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Melt the butter in a sauce pan.

Add olive or avocado oil and garlic and sauté for several minutes on low heat.

Remove from heat.

Dip each slice of bread in the mixture. Turn to coat each side.

Place the bread on a baking sheet.

Bake 8-10 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
