A homemade pasta that is super easy to make!

Directions:

  1. For step by step instruction, watch the video!

  2. Place flour into food processor bowl.

  3. Add salt. Pulse to incorporate.

  4. Add egg yolks.

  5. Pulse to incorporate.

  6. Gradually add warm water until it forms a rough ball.

  7. Place in ungreased bowl and allow to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.

  8. Dust cutting board with flour.

  9. Roll the ball out into a round and cut in two.

  10. Run through the mixer pasta attachment 3-4 times to achieve nice even strips. NOTE: You can use a stand alone pasta appliance, or create by hand as well.

  11. Cut your pasta strips into uniform pieces.

  12. Place your noodle cutting attachment (spaghetti, fettucine, etc) on your mixer and cut the noodles.

  13. Put the noodles into a bowl and toss with flour.

  14. Boil water in a large pot. Generously salt the water and sprinkle in olive oil.

  15. Add the pasta. Test to achieve the right doneness. Note: Fresh pasta will cook much faster.

  16. Serve with the sauce of your choice.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 6 egg yolks

  • Warm water as needed
